The Art of Choosing
We are living in the world where people are frequently confronted with choice. Greater choice gives people a sense of freedom and satisfaction. But very often the multitude of choice evokes the confusion and negative emotions.
My idea to present the subject was to create 5 pairs of fashion images which show the moment before and after taking a decision.

SEARCHING FOR THE SELF
The act of searching is a fundamental activity in life. Usually when we look for something we imagine and create the picture of what we anticipate. We look for things that we have lost, for things that we desire or we look with ambition to achieve something.

breaking the ice
The fashion story captures a moment of the Spring solstice – winter nostalgia and longing for warmth and sun. The juxtaposition of raw materials and vintage props (wooden skis, sledge, skates) with flower patterns and sheer fabric indicate the specific time of year where we are craving the spring to blossom but the coldness keeps stagnation in the air.

DISRUPTIVE INNOVATION
‘The disruptive innovator is an outsider, who creates a product or service for the non-existing consumer in a non-existing market for almost no profit’;
following Clayton Christensen i created three outfits out of white paper doyleys, anti-slip mats and bin liners as a way of visually presenting the key ideas of disruptive innovation theory. The inexpensive materials and imprecise cuts and stitching of these dresses illustrate the low cost and the low-quality characteristic of a new disruptive product. The choice of white - like a tabula rasa, symbolises the opportunities to upgrade and improve the new product.
